I hope you all had a very happy holiday and have fun plans for the new year. This year has definitely been an eye opener and an uphill battle for me. I spent my Christmas in my home town of San Francisco/Marin County and I must say, I couldn't have had a better time. I reconnected with a lot of old friends and made a few new one's. It really reminded me how lucky I am and I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to all the people who have supported me and shown me love through the years. I'd also like to give thanks to everyone involved with The Lonely Drunks. You guys and gals have made the last few months so special for me and I wish all of you nothing but the best in the new year.
Happy Holidays everyone.
All my love,

Jonny

Today is a good day. After a long journey and a lot of hard work, Chris Fudurich and I finally finished my first solo record, Pink Linoleum. This record is an audio diary of the last few years and deals with love, hate, death, life, betrayal, trust, gain, loss, violence and passion. I began writing it 2 years ago after dissatisfactions in both my personal and professional life became too overwhelming to bear. I wasn’t saying what I truly felt or being honest with what I really wanted. I felt stagnant so, I packed up and moved away form what knew and began writing everything down. I’m looking forward to releasing Pink Linoleum very soon and I’m anxious to get on the road and see what happens next.

Last Saturday, I played a few songs with my buddies, the Lonely Drunks at the Cat Club. It was so much fun that I decided to again take the stage with my good friends. They play every Saturday night at the Cat Club on Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood, California and I recommend everyone who love cheep drink, great tunes and awesome musicians comes down and hang with us. It's $10 at the door or $7 with a flyer or $5 if you email me the day before. The boys play around midnight but get there earlier than that. The Cat Club is a small and intimate venue and it fills up fat on a Saturday night.

See ya Saturday.

Hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July. I celebrated by creating a bunch of painting/sculptures and then spending the day at Disneyland with a good friend. What a day!!! I almost forgot how blisteringly hot it was..... man, I hate this weather. I've posted a bunch of my artwork in the pics/vids section at the bottom. I think I may do an art show here in Los Angeles in the near future. I'll be sure to post the details as they come in.

Today is the 37th anniversary of the release of the adult film, "Deep Throat". Such a rad flick. It helped add a little bit of legitimacy to video store porn sections all across the globe. Kinda got me thinkin'..... So Today, I added an "Acoustic / Rare" section to my website. This will be where you can hear exactly where my song originated from. I'll also be posting rare/non album song and live versions of tracks here so keep checking this section for rare goodies..... They wont stay up forever

enjoy

It's about 11pm on Monday and I'm so happy!! Chris and I finally finished up another track for the album. This song is extra special because it's got my long time friend and ex band mate, Brando Burkart playing bass on it. Brando and I were in a great band through high school and shared many ridiculous adventures. I've often wanted to re connect, musically with him throughout the years but we've both been so wrapped up in out own projects, it's never really been a option...... until now. What's cool is the last time we were on a track together, Chris Fudurich was our producer. Funny how things come full circle. I'll be sure to post the song here when it's mixed.

For the past 2 weeks, I’ve been very ill. Something to do
with my stomach. (I wont go into details) The pain has been so crippling that I’ve
basically been confined me to my bedroom. Good thing that’s where all my
guitars are. Oddly enough, the immense pain has been very helpful by inspiring me
musically. So much so that last week, I wrote 4 new songs. The titles of said
songs are; “Seeking A Connection, “How To Suffer”, “The Girl Who Cried” and “Angels
In The Atmosphere”. I plan to record these songs next week when Chris gets back
from Cochella and have at least one of them posted here on www.jonnysculls.com by May. I’m not sure
if I’m gonna put these new songs on the current record or save ‘em for the
second one but if you wanna see them live, I plan to play a few of them at the
Troubadour in West Hollywood on May 16th.

It's been a long time with no updates, sorry about that. I've been workin' hard on the record and after long consideration I decided to put out the music first and then release the DVD. That being said, I'm gonna jam back this debut release with studio, acoustic and live versions of songs so you can get the full experience.
I've also added a live show to the calendar. On May 16th, I'll be performing live at The Troubadour in Hollywood, Ca. I'm very excited about this and hope to see you all there.
